Her work spans a variety of product liability and litigation matters, including construction equipment, industrial insulation materials, fire origin, and juvenile products.

Rachel has negotiated multiple dismissals, positioned cases for favorable settlement either through direct negotiations, mediations, or settlement conferences, and defended trial victories on appeal. Rachel is a diligent and dedicated attorney who serves as a courtroom advocate for her clients.

Experience

  • Rachel is part of the team that serves as national trial counsel for a manufacturer of home and office products and ladders. Her work includes minimizing the company’s exposure to litigation involving serious injuries in many jurisdictions across the country.
  • Rachel employs a similar strategy with a trial team serving as national counsel for a distributor of recreational products. 
  • Represented an architectural firm seeking to enforce a contract with client for multi-million dollar project and obtained a jury trial victory.
  • Obtained a complete jury defense verdict for a manufacturer client in a ladder case after a multi-day trial in Lafayette, La.
  • Obtained a complete jury defense verdict for a manufacturer client in a ladder case after a multi-day trial in Brownsville, Texas.
  • Obtained a complete jury defense verdict for a manufacturer client in a car seat case after a multi-day trial in Lafayette, La.
  • Ongoing representation of a Fortune 100 company related to its product liability matters for its consumer products.
  • Obtained a not guilty for a pro bono client charged with armed robbery.
  • Assisted with a complete jury defense verdict for a distributor client in a recreational products case after a multi-day trial in Baltimore, Md.
  • Assisted with an investigation of numerous fire scenes and artifact analyses, often demonstrating to a potential plaintiff’s attorney why her client’s product could not have caused the fire.
