Alison works closely with ArentFox Schiff’s senior leadership, the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and attorney affinity groups to ensure the implementation of consistent and efficient best practices while developing new initiatives to help drive the firm’s success.
As an immigrant and first-generation college graduate, Alison looks at issues surrounding diversity and inclusion with the benefit of personal experience. At ArentFox Schiff, Alison guides strategic programs around business and professional development, recruiting and mentoring, client partnerships and special events, client team staffing, and ongoing community outreach. This includes working with ArentFox Schiff’s attorney affinity groups to ensure the firm is supporting three crucial ingredients to a successful legal career: opportunity, mentorship, and visibility.
Alison is a founding board member of the ArentFox Schiff’s Center for Racial Equality. Established in 2020, the Center is dedicated to advancing racial justice by using legal, policy, and advocacy tools to help create a more fair and equitable society.
Experience
Alison has more than 20 years of law firm experience, including practicing as a lawyer and as a marketing and business development professional in one of the world’s largest law firms.
She earned her JD degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and a BA in History, with an emphasis in Asian American Studies, from the University of California, Los Angeles. In law school, Alison was an active member of Loyola’s APALSA (Asian Pacific American Law Students Association) and is a member of the Association of Law Firm Diversity Professionals.
