Ammar Qureshi advises clients on corporate, franchise, hospitality, and commercial real estate transactions. He is an experienced lawyer whose background spans transactional practice, litigation, and judicial service in Pakistan.
Before joining ArentFox Schiff, Ammar served as a volunteer with a nonprofit legal services organization in New York, where he conducted client interviews, researched legal issues, prepared case notes, monitored deadlines, and assisted self-represented litigants with filings and court procedures. He previously served as a judge in Pakistan, presiding over criminal, civil, and family matters. He applied statutory interpretation and evidentiary analysis and authored reasoned judgments, none of which were set aside on appeal. Earlier in his career, Ammar practiced as a barrister at a law firm in Pakistan, regularly appearing in banking, shipping, and commercial matters at various stages of litigation.
