Rita is an associate in the Litigation group in the New York office, where her work centers on complex litigation.
Previous Work
Before joining ArentFox Schiff, Rita was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Katherine A. Crytzer in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee in Knoxville. In that role she worked on a broad range of federal civil and criminal matters. In her third year of law school, she was a Practicing Student Intern at the Richmond Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted felonies and misdemeanors on behalf of the Commonwealth. She was also a research assistant focusing on criminal law and the death penalty.
Rita was active in advocacy programs throughout law school. She served as Written Arguments Chair of the Richmond Law Moot Court Board and was a finalist in the 2022 Carrico Moot Court Competition. She also was an editor on the Richmond Law Review.
Life Beyond the Law
Outside of work, Rita enjoys golfing, international travel, and the theatre. A lover of Italian cuisine, she also enjoys cooking and creating recipes to share with family and friends.
