Sean has experience supporting clients to resolve complex litigation and pre-litigation matters. His practice has involved issues related to government and internal investigations, and compliance with federal statutes and regulations, such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, False Claims Act, Lobbying Disclosure Act, and Foreign Agents Registration Act. Sean is also proud of his pro bono practice, where he has assisted a diverse set of clients, facing a diverse set of issues, such as property disputes, employment discrimination, and healthcare access.
Sean started as a summer associate at ArentFox Schiff and returned to the firm upon graduating from Georgetown University Law Center. While at Georgetown, Sean was the Inclusion & Development Editor for the Georgetown Journal of Gender & the Law. Additionally, Sean worked as a student attorney with the Intellectual Property and Information Policy (iPIP) Clinic, where he had the opportunity to counsel a national advocacy organization on how to best navigate state and federal medical privacy laws.
Before law school, Sean was an educator and policy advocate. He first served as a high school science teacher for Teach for America in Sacramento, California, and later as an Instructional Coach for DC Public Schools. After leaving the classroom, Sean continued working to expand access to high-quality education opportunities by lobbying Congress and the Executive Branch on behalf of national non-profit organizations.
Life Beyond the Law
Outside of work, if not spending time with his three dogs, Sean enjoys playing recreational dodgeball, reading science fiction, and discovering new and upcoming musicians in the DC area.
