ArentFox Schiff Now Accepting 2027 Summer Associate Program Applications

ArentFox Schiff is now accepting applications from second-year law students for its 2L Summer Associate Program. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with interviews taking place throughout early fall. Interested students are encouraged to apply early.

Through the 2027 Summer Associate Program, summer associates are embedded within a specific practice group, where they gain hands-on experience and develop substantive skills through assignments focused on their area of interest. Summer associates receive one-on-one mentoring from attorneys across the firm and individualized feedback from the firm’s in-house legal writing and career coaches. They also attend the Summer Colloquium, a two-day retreat that brings together summer associates from all offices for workshops, professional development, and social events. 

The firm is currently recruiting summer associates for the following practice groups and locations: 

  • Complex Litigation - Chicago, Los Angeles, and Washington, DC 
  • Corporate & Securities - All offices (Boston, Chicago, or New York preferred) 
  • International Trade - Washington, DC 
  • IP Litigation - San Francisco 
  • Real Estate - Washington, DC 

ArentFox Schiff encourages second-year law students with a demonstrated interest in these practice areas to apply.  Candidates may apply to one practice group and office.
