Richard L. Brand and ArentFox Schiff Shortlisted for 2026 IFLR Americas Awards

The IFLR Americas Awards recognizes the region’s most innovative legal work and the lawyers and teams that are driving significant achievements across the financial and transactional legal markets. The annual awards honor excellence in advising clients on complex, high-impact matters and industry-leading transactions. 

Richard L. Brand, leader of ArentFox Schiff’s Sports Industry Group and managing partner of the firm’s San Francisco office, is widely recognized as one of the nation’s leading sports attorneys. His practice spans some of the sports industry’s most significant transactions, including team acquisitions and sales, naming rights and sponsorship agreements, stadium and venue development, media rights arrangements, and other complex commercial matters.  

The shortlisting also reflects another standout year for ArentFox Schiff’s nationally recognized Sports group, which advises leagues, teams, venue owners, investors, sponsors, brands, and other sports industry stakeholders on market-defining transactions and strategic business matters. Under Rich’s leadership, the group has built a reputation as one of the most active and versatile sports practices in the United States.  

Winners will be announced at the 2026 IFLR Americas Awards ceremony in New York on October 15.
