Hospitality: Intellectual Property
For more than 20 years, our work has included managing domestic and international intellectual property matters in the hospitality industry, from single hotels to global hotel chains. Projects include trademark application prosecution in the US and coordinating an extensive network of local counsel to do the same in foreign jurisdictions; domestic and international brand clearance; global brand rollouts and new country entries; developing brand usage guidelines; brand audits and strategic planning; adversarial proceedings and enforcement actions, including before courts, arbitration forums, and administrative bodies; domain name enforcement; licensing; advertising and sweepstakes; privacy and data protection; and intellectual property issues involving the Metaverse, social networking, and user generated content.
