Christian Podest

Christian Podest is an associate in the Insurance & Reinsurance group, where he focuses on insurance regulatory and compliance matters. He has a strong background in legal compliance in the property and casualty insurance sector, and he has experience in regulatory oversight, interpreting legal guidelines that apply to commercial insurance products, and supporting risk management strategies. Christian also has litigation experience from private practice, including legal research, drafting, and case preparation.

Previous Work

Before joining ArentFox Schiff, Christian served as in-house regulatory counsel to a group of property and casualty insurance companies. In that role, he ensured regulatory compliance, interpreted legal guidelines for commercial insurance products,  and supported the companies’ risk management strategies. Earlier in his career, he was a law clerk and then an associate at a New York litigation firm, where he conducted legal research, drafted legal documents, and supported case preparation
