Nana Darkwa

Nana represents clients in a broad range of corporate transactional law matters including mergers and acquisitions and general corporate governance practices. She additionally advises clients on their trust and estate matters, including assisting with trust administration matters.

Previous Work

Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, Nana worked as a judicial intern to The Honorable Judge Valerie Yarashus of the Massachusetts Superior Court, as well as interning for the De Novo Center for Justice and Healing, a nonprofit which provides client-driven integrated legal and mental health services to overcome the impacts of poverty, inequity, and trauma. While in law school, she served as a Senior Staff Member at the Suffolk Transnational Law Review and was recognized on the Supreme Judicial Court Adams Pro Bono Honor Roll for her work as a Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Fellow.

In addition, Nana was a SJC 3:03 student attorney for the Family Advocacy Clinic at Suffolk Law School, where she represented indigent survivors of domestic violence in family court proceedings under the supervision of senior attorneys.

Life Beyond the Law

Outside of work, Nana enjoys traveling, baking, and playing pickup volleyball.
