Sydni is an Associate in ArentFox Schiff’s San Francisco office whose practice spans complex litigation, regulatory compliance, and public interest matters, with a focus on issues at the intersection of civil rights, regulatory policy, and economic opportunity. Grounded in hands-on client advocacy, she helps clients navigate high-stakes disputes and evolving regulatory landscapes while maintaining a practical, solutions-oriented approach.

Drawing on experience that includes researching and drafting memoranda on complex litigation strategy and regulatory frameworks, Sydni supports clients in evaluating risk, aligning with industry standards, and translating legal requirements into actionable compliance programs.

Previous Work

Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, Sydni served with the California Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Enforcement Section, the East Bay Community Law Center’s Clean Slate practice, and Public Advocates, where she developed educational resources and advocacy tools for community leaders. In these roles, she researched state and local procedures, identified best practices for domestic violence protocols, and addressed housing policy and tenant rights ordinances—experience she now draws on to support litigation positions, compliance solutions, and client counseling. She also appeared in court in support of prosecutor-initiated resentencing and prepared petitions and filings advancing second-chance relief in Alameda County.
