Nonprofits & Associations Industry Group Co-Leader Sean Glynn and Associate Dan Jasnow will present about metaverse considerations for the nonprofit sector at the 2022 Greater Washington Society of CPAs (GWSCPA) Nonprofit Symposium on November 17.

Sean and Dan’s presentation is titled “The Metaverse: A Legal Primer for the Nonprofit Sector.” Along with co-presenters from assurance, tax, and consulting firm Aronson LLC, Rob Eby, Partner, and Azunna Anyanwu, Chief Technology Officer, Sean and Dan will highlight the key legal, accounting, and IT issues nonprofits should consider before buying digital real estate and investing in platforms in the metaverse.

The Symposium will consist of live virtual sessions on weekly themes throughout the fall, and will culminate with an in-person day of networking and final keynotes in December. Sean and Dan’s presentation is part of the much-anticipated Cybersecurity Week theme.
