Organized by the DC Section of the Institute of Food Technologists in partnership with the American Society for Nutrition, Food Policy Impact will provide attendees with an opportunity to review the latest developments in food and nutrition laws, regulations, and policy initiatives as well as hear from industry regarding how organizations are planning to or are already responding to these changes.
Karen will provide an update on the intersection of biotechnology with food and agriculture, including a review of recent regulatory activity and litigation. Attendees will also hear from industry professionals from FDA, USDA, and the White House, and Congressman James McGovern (D-MA) will deliver the keynote address.
