Associate Megan Daily will present as part of the DC Bar Pro Bono Center and the Center for Nonprofit Advancement’s online seminar series, “Understanding the Fundamentals of Nonprofit Organizations: An 8-Part Business Law Course For Nonprofit Leaders.”
Megan’s presentation, taking place on April 13 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM ET, will focus on nonprofit contracts and leases. While it will cover information that applies to nonprofits at every organizational stage, the presentation will be particularly helpful for early-stage nonprofit organizations who are navigating and negotiating the nuances of contractual arrangements for the first time.
The annual seminar series provides insights into legal issues that nonprofit organizations may face, including matters related to taxes, labor and employment, risk management, accounting, and contracts. It is designed for nonprofit leaders and staff seeking to develop their management capabilities.
