Agricultural Technology Industry Group Co-Leader Karen Ellis Carr will present in a webinar hosted by the American Agricultural Law Association (AALA) on August 30.

The webinar, titled “Legal Issues for Indoor Agriculture,” will cover the legal landscape for indoor agricultural technology companies, including how particular areas of regulatory consideration for controlled environmental agriculture systems compare to considerations for conventional agriculture. Karen and co-presenters from Bowery Farming and Plenty and a former USDA appointee from Karlin Strategic Consulting LLC will discuss opportunities for innovation in agriculture as Congressional renewal of the Farm Bill approaches.
