Arent Fox LLP is proud to announce the publication of a comprehensive and definitive book for health care industry leaders focused on risk management and litigation.

Published by the Practising Law Institute and edited by Arent Fox partner David S. Greenberg and senior associate Brian D. “We wrote this book as a service for organizations in the health care space,” said Mr. Greenberg. “Our health care and litigation attorneys have a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we want to provide executives, boards of directors, health care attorneys, and compliance professionals with up-to-date information concerning the significant legal challenges associated with operating in a highly regulated industry subject to frequent litigation and government enforcement.”

The Answer Book covers 22 chapters spanning the industry’s strategic challenges, including government regulation and investigations, the False Claims Act, the Stark law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and EMTALA, as well as major areas of private litigation risk, such as employment litigation and insurer/provider disputes. The Answer Book also provides analysis of compliance strategies to avoid investigations, fines, and litigation.

“We were fortunate to be able to tap into the deep bench of Arent Fox attorneys who focus on representing health care organizations in investigations and complex litigation,” said Mr. Greenberg.

Contributing Arent Fox attorneys include Linda A. Baumann (Health Care), Sarah G. Benator (Health Care), Lowell C. Brown (Health Care), Michael S. Cryan (Complex Litigation), Caroline Turner English (Complex Litigation), Thomas E. Jeffry, Jr. (Health Care), Stewart S. Manela (Labor & Employment), D. Jacques Smith (Complex Litigation), Stephanie Trunk (Health Care), Peter V.B. Unger (Complex Litigation), and Peter Zeidenberg (White Collar & Investigations).
