Montgomery Quoted on SCOTUS Decision to Review EPA Authority

Partner Jane Montgomery was quoted on the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to review a lower court decision that could limit the scope of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) authority to establish carbon rules through the Clean Air Act.

Jane said, “On a substantive basis, actually resolving this question would be great,” adding that a ruling could offer clarity on increasingly complicated issues regarding how EPA can interpret the best system of emission reduction and performance standards.
