Emily’s practice focuses on corporate matters including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, public offerings and other varied business transactions. She also supports clients with commercial contracts, namely in the fashion, technology, advertising, and privacy sectors.
Emily maintains an active private funds practice, where she represents general partners in the formation and operating of private investment funds and funds-of-funds. She assists foundations and other institutional investors in making and exiting private equity hedge fund investments.
Emily began her legal career as a summer associate at ArentFox Schiff and returned to the firm following law school graduation. While in law school, Emily was a judicial intern to Justice Brynja McDivitt Booth with the Supreme Court of Maryland.

Outside of work, Emily is an avid college basketball fan (she is a former NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball athlete), and enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants in DC. Emily was born and raised in Upstate New York.
