ArentFox Schiff Represents VHB in Expansion-Driving Acquisition

ArentFox Schiff represented top national civil engineering firm, Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. (VHB), in the acquisition of Pennsylvania-based transportation engineering firm, Drive Engineering Corp.

This acquisition serves to expand VHB’s geographic reach and strengthen its capabilities to deliver safer, more efficient transportation systems and traffic operations for clients across the East Coast.

Drive Engineering is known for its strong track record of combining technical precision with advanced tools and technology to enhance safety, streamline traffic operations, and support more efficient transportation systems. This partnership between VHB and Drive Engineering will strengthen VHB’s capabilities in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), traffic operations, system reliability, and data-informed mobility planning, all while supporting clients in adapting to evolving technologies and future transportation demands. The transaction closed on January 19, 2026.
