Nick is an Associate at ArentFox Schiff, advising clients on complex matters at the intersection of real estate transactions, international trade, and regulated industries. Drawing on experience with high-stakes issues before the California Supreme Court and hands-on work with public law and policy, he helps businesses, developers, and market participants navigate intricate deal structures, statutory and regulatory frameworks, and emerging risks. Nick brings a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach grounded in careful legal analysis and a clear understanding of client objectives.
Previous Work
Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, Nick externed at the California Supreme Court, where he drafted research memoranda on civil and criminal issues and assessed petitions for review, honing an appellate perspective that informs his counseling and written advocacy. He previously served as a law clerk in the East Bay Community Law Center’s Health and Welfare Clinic, providing direct services involving disability benefits, Medicaid enrollment, and housing stability. Earlier in his career, Nick worked as a clinical shelter case manager in Seattle, coordinating care and housing for high-acuity psychiatric patients—experience that underpins his practical judgment, calm in crisis, and client-centered communication.
