Health Care Counsel Gayland Hethcoat will present at the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys’ (CSHA) 2023 Annual Meeting and Spring Seminar on May 5.
Gayland and his co-presenter, Arnold Pamplona, System Director and Senior Counsel at CommonSpirit Health, will give a presentation titled “Common Pitfalls with Physician Recruitment.” The presentation will identify three common pitfalls of physician recruitment agreements (PRAs) and ways to navigate their associated risks. Gayland and Arnold will also discuss the PRAs that are most commonly used in California and provide an overview of the Stark Law recruitment exception.
