Partner Anne Murphy will present at the American Health Law Association’s (AHLA) Annual In-House Counsel Program on June 26 in Chicago.

Anne’s presentation, titled “The New Focus on Board Composition, Organization and Process,” will cover board governance process trends and recent legal developments impacting boards in the health care industry. Key considerations Anne will address include calibrating ESG and diversity and inclusion priorities for boards; workforce culture, retention, and recruitment issues; regulatory compliance; legal risk associated with heightened federal enforcement attention; and the future of virtual board meetings.

AHLA is the nation’s largest nonpartisan educational organization devoted to legal issues in the health care field. The In-House Counsel Program focuses on providing practical, hands-on ways to function in the day-to-day work roles and responsibilities of in-house counsel lawyers.
