Health Care Partner Annie Chang Lee will present at the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys (CSHA) 2022 Fall Seminar on October 28.
In a presentation titled “Physician Well-Being and Burnout,” Annie will discuss practitioner burnout in the health care industry, particularly in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, with Nicea Darling, Vice President of Legal Services at Community Medical Centers. Annie and Nicea will explore the value and legal parameters of well-being committees, which many health care institutions are forming to address practitioner burnout, as well as other emerging ideas for addressing practitioner well-being. They will also cover Stark law considerations when developing wellness programs.
CSHA’s Fall Seminar consists of a series of practical presentations designed to keep health law attorneys abreast of the latest issues in health law.
