Cristina Carvalho Named as One of Washington’s ‘Most Powerful Women’ for Sixth Time
ArentFox Schiff is pleased to announce that Partner and Executive Committee member Cristina A. Carvalho has been named to Washingtonian’s 2026 list of the “Most Powerful Women in Washington.”
Published in the magazine’s October issue, the list recognizes influential women making an impact across the Washington, DC, region. This marks Cristina’s sixth appearance on the list, following her recognition in 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2025.
Cristina oversees an international practice spanning commercial transactions, intellectual property, licensing, and technology for leading US and global companies. Admitted to practice in both the United States and Brazil, she has extensive experience in global intellectual property portfolio management, trademark prosecution and disputes, and complex cross-border transactions.
Cristina serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and previously served as Firmwide Managing Partner from 2016 to 2023. Her professional recognitions include Forbes’ 2026 America’s Top Women Lawyers, World Trademark Review’s Top 1000, The Legal 500 US, Best Lawyers, and Managing IP’s IP Stars, and “Top 250 Women in IP.”
