Trade Secrets Team Authors Two Chapters for Chambers Guide

ArentFox Schiff’s Trade Secrets, Noncompetes & Employee Mobility Team authored two chapters in the Trade Secrets 2026 guide, published by Chambers and Partners as part of their Chambers Global Practice Guides series.

The two chapters highlight “Trends and Developments” in the Trade Secrets sectors impacting the respective DC Metropolitan Area and Illinois markets.

The chapter covering the DC Metro Area examines the various iterations of the Uniform Trade Secrets Act for DC, Virginia and Maryland and where the statutory frameworks overlap. The chapter covering Illinois discusses the unusually well-developed body of law reflecting the industry, consumer products, and financial markets focus of the northern half of the state and the agricultural focus of the southern half.

The author teams were led by Trade Secrets, Noncompetes & Employee Mobility group Co-Leaders Linda M. Jackson and Matthew F. Prewitt, and included Andrew Baskin, Michael Molzberger, Trevor Jorgensen, Pat Naples, James Cromley, and John Hindley.
