William has experience within the Corporate & Securities group on matters involving general due diligence and corporate closing items. He is also experienced in litigation projects involving legal research and memorandum drafting for complex litigation disputes.

Client Work

William’s recent representative matters includes:

  • Advised Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation on its acquisition of the business assets of ten (10) Krispy Kreme stores located in Canada, Hawaii, and throughout the U.S. Pacific Northwest. William participated in the extensive legal, environmental, financial, regulatory, and business due diligence investigation of the purchased assets and assisted with drafting key transaction documents.
  • Associate in advising specialty insurance company in its stock acquisition of a U.S. treasury listed surety company. William assisted on overseeing negotiations, applying for and obtaining all necessary regulatory consents, and closing the transaction. A press release describing the transaction can be read here.

Previous Work

William first joined the firm as a Summer Associate, where he worked with the complex litigation and corporate teams. Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, William was a Legal Assistant at a multinational law firm.

Life Beyond the Law

Outside of work, William enjoys surfing and spending time at the beach with his wife and son.
